Transition Programs
Work Opportunity Resource Center
The Work Opportunity Resource Center provides
pre-occupational and career exploration for students
preparing for the transition from school to community
employment.
Taught
in a safe, relaxed, home atmosphere, students are introduced
to careers, work skills, and daily living skills. In
preparation for employment and independent living, WORC
activities and projects are designed to increase job
skills, work ethic, teamwork, communication and interpersonal
abilities.
The following lists of curriculum goals and objectives
are suggested for the WORC Program. Some goals may be
modified to meet the individual needs of students.
