Summer Programs

The Boise School District offers a variety of summer programs for our students to enhance their educational experiences . In spring, 2009 we will begin linking information from this page about these programs. Please check back often throughout the spring - programs will be added to this site as details are solidified.

• Secondary Summer School - Students entering grades 9 - 12 in the fall.
• Alternative High School - For eligible at-risk students entering grades 9 - 12 in the fall or needing to finish graduation requirements.
• Junior High Alternative School - For eligible at-risk students currently enrolled in grades 7 - 8.
• Secondary TVMSC Treasure Valley Math & Science Center offers for-credit secondary accelerated math courses, Reading 8, PE 8, and Health 8.
• Elementary Summer School - Reading and math.
• English Language Learners - Summer school for secondary ELL students.
• Summer Music - June 5 through June 26, M-F for students in grades 4 through 12. $40 fee covers all classes.
• Driver Education Summer Programs 6/1/09 - all sessions are full.
• Just For Kids - Child care program
• Summer Meal Program - free breakfast & lunch for children under 18, adult meals available at low prices.
