The Boise School District offers a variety of summer programs for our students to enhance their educational experiences. Please check back often throughout the spring - programs will be added to this site as details are solidified.

  • No School on Friday July 4
  • High School
    June 10 -July 3 1st semester
    July 7 - July 31 2nd semester
    High School - Traditional Program at Capital
    High School / Junior High At- Risk Program at Borah
  • Extended School Year, Junior High & Elementary Programs
    June 10 - July 18
    Secondary School at TVMSC (Riverglen Junior High)
    Elementary: Hawthorne, Hillcrest, Whittier

  • Secondary Summer School - Students entering grades 9 - 12 in the fall.
  • Alternative High School - For eligible at-risk students entering grades 9 - 12 in the fall or needing to finish graduation requirements.
  • Junior High Alternative School - For eligible at-risk students currently enrolled in grades 7 - 8.
  • Secondary TVMSC Treasure Valley Math & Science Center offers for-credit secondary accelerated math courses, Reading 8, PE 8, and Health 8.
  • Summer Music - June 6 through June 27, M-F for students in grades 4 through 12. $40 fee covers all classes.
  • Driver Education Summer Program
  • English Language Learners - Summer school for secondary ELL students.
  • Just For Kids - Child care program
  • Summer Meal Program - breakfast & lunch for children under 18
