Curriculum Enhancement
Teachers may enhance their curriculum with outside
speakers or resources. They may ask the school's volunteer
coordinator for help in finding a speaker or resource.
The Boise School Volunteer Office may be of assistance
in helping the volunteer coordinator and the teacher.
The school's volunteer coordinator, teacher, or staff
member may contact the Volunteer Office with a need
or topic. The volunteer will provide names, organizations
and resources. It is then the responsibility of the
teacher or staff member to make contact, set the date,
and follow through.
The Volunteer Office has information on curriculum
content topics, how to access community resources,
or suggestions to help classroom speakers. For more
information on the Curriculum Enhancement, please email
or telephone our office.
If you would like to sign up to be a Curriculum Enhancement
volunteer, please, print and
fill out the form,* and mail or fax it to our office.
Teachers having requests should submit the Staff
Request For Volunteer Services on-line form.
(You may print a Word document
copy to mail or fax to our office.)
