Parent Engagement Opportunities   
The Boise School District has developed a Parent Engagement Program to offer support and skills to assist parents or guardians with raising happy and responsible kids.  Classes are offered throughout the city's school buildings at different start dates throughout the semester and are taught by certified school counselors and community partners who have extensive training and experience.
 The cost of workshops are free. Dates and Times of classes vary throughout the year.

Opportunities for the 2023-24 School Year
   
-Parents Workshops in Partnership with Family Advocates: This 10-week course provides dinner, childcare, and resources.  Dates coming soon for the spring semester. 

-Pillars for Parents: The Boise School District shares strategies that teachers are learning to help manage behaviors at school and provides practical skills to implement these same strategies at home. Date coming soon for the spring semester. 

-Understanding Special Education: This one night workshop helps parents and guardians learn more about Special Education process in the Boise School District and how students qualify. Click HERE to learn more or register. 

-READY! for Kindergarten: Three part Parent Workshops that focuses on turning everyday moments into learning opportunities. FREE educational toys geared towards your child's age are given at each workshop.
