Representatives from Boise businesses, non-profit organizations and state government spent the morning touring the District’s Dennis Technical Education Center, as well as Frank Church High School. Patrons were able to interact with students and staff about the innovative and dynamic student opportunities available in Boise schools.

In the following videos, Dennis Technical Education Center students John Myers and Jordan Diehl talk about how the Dennis Center has positioned them to succeed in life and career.

In the following video, Frank Church High School student Tina Jeffs talks about how the Community School Program at Frank Church High School has changed her school for the better. 

A Community School is both a place and a set of partnerships between the school and other community resources. Its integrated focus on academics, health and social services, youth and community development and family engagement leads to improved student learning, stronger families and healthier communities.
