Boise School District Supports Boise Kind Campaign

City of Boise Mayor Dave Bieter and Boise School District Superintendent Dr. Don Coberly joined with other community leaders and organizations on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 to officialy unveil the initiative.  The Idaho Food Bank warehouse was the backdrop, a place where kindness is visible every day as food is provided to the less fortunate in our community, said initiative supporters.  

Boise School Disrict looks forward to promoting the Boise Kind initiative and highlighting the many kindness, character education and citizenship programs currently taking place in our schools in every Boise neighborhood.

"A culture of kindness, respect and dignity is not new to Boise, nor to our schools," said Dr. Coberly. "In Boise's neighborhood public schools, you'll find that our students and staff seize that opportunity every day. We look forward to this partnership."
