Dear Boise School District Staff,

To best serve our students, staff, and families, Boise Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, March 16th and will remain closed through Friday, March 27th. The office staff at all schools will be available Monday for parents to pick up student medications, personal belongings, etc. 

All athletics and activities, including practices, have been suspended until further notice. The District’s child care provider, Just for Kids, will also be closed.

This week, Boise School District administrative staff will meet to develop plans to ensure our students and parent’s most basic needs are met during this stressful time, including family activity materials, meals, and childcare options in the event the school closure lasts beyond March 27th.

Staff expectations are similar to those during a snow day. Please direct any specific questions to your supervisor. 

While schools are closed, we encourage all staff and their families to practice social distancing, excellent personal hygiene and follow the latest guidance from Central District Health.
