New COVID Testing Resource for Students and Employees

In an effort to improve the access of SARS-CoV-2 testing for students and staff, the Boise School District is collaborating with community partners to offer SARS-CoV-2 testing with the goal of reducing COVID-19 transmission in schools and returning students and staff as soon as possible after illness and quarantine, through the utilization of funds through the subgrant available through the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Beginning December 1, 2021 Boise School District will offer an additional testing resource for students and staff to access rapid antigen testing and PCR testing.  Keele Medical will be located in the Grace Jordan Community Center, 6411 W. Why Choose a PCR or Rapid Antigen Test?

PCR tests are needed for those individuals who have been exposed and wish to get out of quarantine early. Rapid antigen tests or PCR tests can be used if students and staff  have been ill and wish to return to school.

Additional Resources

  • Boise State University will continue to provide Rapid antigen and PCR testing for Boise School District students and staff with no proof of insurance needed. Parents and other non-school age children would need to provide proof of insurance.
