Boise Students and Boise State Athletes 'Chalk the Walk' to Kick Off National Suicide Prevention Month with Messages of Hope and Support
We are excited to share the powerful kickoff to National Suicide Prevention Month! 🎗️ Our high school students teamed up with Boise State University student-athletes to participate in the inspiring "Chalk the Walk" event at City Hall. Together, they filled the sidewalks with messages of hope, encouragement, and positivity—an important reminder that no one is ever alone, and help is always available.
These messages of support and inspiration aim to raise awareness of mental health, suicide prevention, and the importance of reaching out. We are proud of our students for their dedication to spreading kindness and compassion, especially on such a critical issue that affects so many.
As we move through the month, we encourage everyone to take part in this ongoing conversation about mental health. Let’s stand together as a community to support one another, share resources, and remind ourselves that hope is powerful and help is always within reach.
Thank you to our students and Boise State’s student-athletes for making a difference and bringing these messages to the heart of our city. Let's continue to show up for each other and help raise awareness throughout National Suicide Prevention Month and beyond.
Together, we can make a difference. đź’™
