International School

longfellowInternational School Program

As members of an International School, Longfellow Elementary School students are exposed to a curriculum enriched by historic, geographic and cultural extensions that provide frequent opportunities for students to explore, understand, and draw conclusions with other people, cultures, and historical experiences.

For example, during a monthly international country of study, students will explore the historical, political and geographic aspects of the country.  In addition, they may listen to music, create art, perform folk tales, taste meals, grow crops and/or play games indigenous to the country.

At Longfellow, dedicated education professionals believe it takes an "entire village" to educate our children and ask for your involvement in your child's education. Only with a cooperative effort on the part of students, parents, school personnel, and our community, will we reach our goal of providing the best education possible for our children.
