Boise School District participates in the USDA National School Breakfast, National School Lunch Program, and Child and Adult Care Food Program’s At Risk Supper program. Breakfast and lunch are served at all Boise schools. Suppers are provided at 9 schools with Boise Parks & Recreation after school programs including Garfield, Grace Jordan, Hawthorne, Jefferson, Morley Nelson, Whitney, Whittier and William Howard Taft Elementary Schools, as well as South Jr. High School.

Meals are free or reduced-priced for students who qualify and are free to all students who attend a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) school. Breakfast is provided at no cost to all students attending a school with Provision 2 breakfast. Free & reduced-price meal applications are now being accepted.
