Staff Vaccine Rollout

With the Governor moving up the vaccination schedule of school staff, we are committed to working closely with vaccine providers to ensure this process goes as smoothly and quickly as possible, given the scope and magnitude of this complex statewide effort. This week, we began to communicate directly with District staff about the availability of verified vaccine clinics for educators and will continue to do so as we learn more about other opportunities. We ask for patience and understanding from our staff as this vaccine rollout moves forward. Additional resources:

Response to Safety Concerns Next Week at Idaho Capitol

Nationally, we have seen reports about possible armed protests at state capitol buildings regarding next week’s Presidential Inauguration.  Out of an abundance of caution, we are taking steps to keep students in close proximity to the Idaho Capitol (Boise High, North Jr. High, Longfellow and Washington) on campus on Tuesday, January 19 and Wednesday, January 20.  We are working closely with the Boise Police Department to ensure that safety and security are maintained at our schools. As we learn more, we will keep you informed.
