WHAT TO EXPECT FROM
IN-PERSON FULL-TIME SCHOOL
Students & staff can expect the following safety protocols to be in place and followed when a phased return to full-time in-person learning begins on Tuesday, March 9, 2021:
MASK WEARING
Masks fully covering the nose and mouth will be worn by all, including those who have received the COVID-19 vaccination. Learn more...
PHYSICAL DISTANCING
When in contact for 15 minutes or greater, six feet of physical distancing will be maintained to the greatest extent possible. Classrooms unable to reach six feet distancing will utilize pod/cohort strategies to mitigate risk.
CONTACT TRACING & QUARANTINING
Contract tracing in collaboration with Central District Health to determine who may have been exposed to COVID-19. If you have direct physical contact with an individual infected with COVID-19 or are displaying signs of COVID-19 you will be asked to quarantine, according to the Central District Health Guidance on COVID-19 Exposures for Schools and the Illness Decision Tree.
ENVIRONMENTAL CLEANLINESS
Diligent focus on environmental cleanliness, including regular hand washing and disinfection of surfaces.
