Mountain View Elementary - Update

Mountain View Elementary School was constructed in 1959 and is in need of a new facility required to meet modern educational standards.

With multiple portable classrooms, a small combined gym and cafeteria and limited space for learning and parent conferences, Mountain View ranked as the 8th worst elementary school for Educational Adequacy in the 2016 Facilities Audit.

A new school, in the same location, will meet modern education standards, and provide additional space for physical education and music.

March 4, 2020: The LKV designed Mountain View Elementary project managed by Kreizenbeck Constructors continues.  Drywall installation, taping and painting is wrapping up. Casework installation is nearing completion. M-E-P fixtures and devises are being installed. Completion of the new building is tracking for mid-April of 2020. Work has started on site improvements.
