How to Apply for Classified Positions

We appreciate your interest in working with the Boise School District as a classified staff member. Our objective is to ensure we have qualified applicants to fill vacancies as they are available. To assist with this, we want to ensure you are successful in completing your online application and supplying any required materials. Please review each of the sections below to assist with completing your online, classified application. Apply for Vacancies
To be considered for classified positions, you must apply for the job pool. You will have the option to select which locations you are interested in working at.

You do not need to apply for specific positions to receive consideration. Once you have applied for the pool you will receive automatic consideration for vacancies at the sites you have indicated - even if the job posting status is "In-District Only."

Additional materials, such as resume and cover letter, are not required but are recommended unless mentioned within the job posting. You can attach your document(s) within the application or email them to [email protected].
Interviews
All applicants who have applied for a pool will be reviewed and the most-qualified applicants will be selected for an interview. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee an interview.

Once a finalist has been selected to fill the vacancy, all other applicants will receive notification via email that the vacancy has filled.
Offer of Employment
The finalist will be contacted by the Human Resources Department to complete the new-hire onboarding process.
