Application Procedure:

February 1st the Dual Language Application will be available to submit HERE.  Deadline is March 27th. 

To keep the program balanced, we strive to enroll equal numbers of Spanish-speaking and English-speaking students.

If more students apply than there are available seats, we will hold a lottery on April 3. You will receive an email on the evening of April 3 letting you know whether your child has been offered a seat.

If you live outside the program’s attendance boundary, please submit your Open Enrollment application after you receive confirmation that your child has been offered a seat in the program. If your child is not offered a seat, they will be added to a waiting list.

If your child is offered a seat in the program, you must confirm acceptance within 7 days by completing the confirmation form included in the email.

Procedimiento de Inscripción:

El 1 de febrero, la solicitud del Programa de Doble Inmersión estará disponible para enviarla AQUÍ. La fecha límite es el 27 de marzo.

Para mantener el programa equilibrado, procuramos inscribir a cantidades iguales de estudiantes de habla hispana y de habla inglesa.

Si se reciben más solicitudes que cupos disponibles, se realizará un sorteo el 3 de abril. Usted recibirá un correo electrónico el 3 de abril informándole si a su hijo/a se le ha ofrecido un cupo en el programa.

Si usted vive fuera del área de asistencia del programa, por favor presente su solicitud de Open Enrollment (Inscripción Abierta) después de recibir la confirmación de que a su hijo/a se le ha ofrecido un cupo en el programa. Si a su hijo(a) no se le ofrece un cupo, se le agregará a una lista de espera.

Si a su hijo/a se le ofrece un cupo en el programa, debe confirmar su aceptación dentro de 7 días completando el formulario de confirmación incluido en el correo electrónico.

Where: At Whitney Elementary (1609 Owyhee St.) or Whittier Elementary (301 North 29th St.). Please choose the school closest to your home.

Who: Parents of incoming kindergarten students  Please adults only.

• Take a school tour 

• Participate in a question & answer session with current dual language teachers and parents

• Learn about open enrollment policies and how it will impact program registration

• Learn about the Seal of Biliteracy
