Parent Advocacy Group

The Parent Advocacy Group works closely with our Superintendent Wendy Johnson and Deputy Superintendent Nick Smith. The group includes parent representatives from each of the District’s four high school attendance areas, Boise, Borah, Capital, and Timberline, as well as at-large members representing elementary, junior high, and high school families across the district. 

The purpose of the Boise School District Parent Advocacy Group is to:

• Foster meaningful collaboration between families and district leadership
• Amplify parent voices in district decision-making
• Promote community engagement across all schools
• Build a network of informed parent advocates
• Encourage constructive dialogue and shared learning
• Support a well-rounded educational experience for all students
• Strengthen communication between families and the district
• Ensure a wide range of perspectives are heard, understood, and valued
