U.S. Presidential Scholar Candidates Announced

Boise, ID -- 02/16/2024 -- Boise School District is proud to announce the following Boise School District high school seniors have qualified as candidates in the 2024 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, which honors some of our nation's most distinguished graduating high school seniors.

A total of 86 Idaho high school seniors were selected for this recognition. Of those, 24 are from the Boise School District, which represents 28% of Idaho's total U.S. Presidential Scholar Candidates. This is an impressive showing considering Boise School District represents 7% of Idaho's total public school enrollment.

"This is a tremendous achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of these students," said Superintendent Coby Dennis, Boise School District. "We applaud their academic excellence, leadership skills, and commitment to their community. We are honored to have such talented and driven students who represent some of the best of our learner-focused educational system.
