Dan Corsberg has lived in Idaho off and on for 60+ years. He and his wife have children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was in the Navy on submarines, worked on a ranch for a few years, and then went off to the University of Idaho and pursued a degree in Computer Science. Dan worked at the Idaho National Laboratory on Artificial Intelligence for a few years and then went out into the commercial world. In the late nineties, he got involved in software application security and has been working, learning, and teaching in that space ever since.
As he neared retirement, Dan was looking for something where he could learn, teach, and help others. Every time he teaches a class he learns during preparation, and he learns during teaching. Dan feels Community Ed is a perfect match for him!
One of the reasons the Corsbergs live in Idaho is because of their love of whitewater rafting - something they have done for 30+ years. Dan loves his family, Idaho, his work, teaching, and rafting. Dan is also a leukemia survivor and is grateful for each and every day!
This fall, Dan is teaching EXPLORING TODAY’S AI, DEFENDING YOUR DIGITAL HOME, AND DEFENDING YOUR MOBILE DEVICES.
