Boise School District has a plan in place to keep our students and staff safe during periods of extreme cold.

Due to inclement weather, all 5A SIC sanctioned athletic events scheduled for today and tomorrow (Friday, January 12, 2024 and Saturday, January 13, 2024) have been canceled and will be rescheduled. In addition to the 5A SIC canceling all 5A SIC athletic events for today and tomorrow (Jan. 12 & 13, 2024), Boise School District will also be canceling all athletic practices in the Boise School District for today, Friday, January 12, 2024 and tomorrow, Saturday, January 13, 2024.

Boise School District schools will be in session today, Friday, January 12, 2024 and the District reminds all students, staff, parents and community members to travel safely.

Boise School District's Superintendency sends this holiday message to our school community.

Each year, Boise School District holds a holiday card art contest for students in the District. The contest is held in conjunction with the Saint Alphonsus Festival of Trees, which also holds a holiday card art contest for students. In addition, this year student artwork from the Boise School District was selected by the Idaho Department of Education to serve as the Department's 2023 Holiday Card artwork.
