Valley View Elementary School was constructed in 1969.  Valley View does not meet modern educational or safety standards. Valley View Elementary ranked as the worst elementary school in the District for Educational Adequacy in the 2016 Facilities Audit.

A new school, in the same location, will help address flexible space needs, meet modern education standards, and provide adequate space for physical education and music.

September 8, 2021 Update:  Beniton Construction is providing Construction Management services for the LKV Architects designed project, which opened for students in August of 2021. Completion of the parking area is scheduled for late September 2021.
