Ms. Jodie Mills will serve in the new position of Deputy Superintendent of Learning, a role that will replace the Chief Academic Officer position that Ms. Mills currently holds.
As the Boise School District’s Deputy Superintendent of Learning, Ms. Mills will work with our District’s Executive Leadership Council to provide leadership and support to teachers, principals, and other school leaders to ensure that our District provides a high-quality comprehensive educational experience for each and every student.
Ms. Mills will play a key leadership role in implementing, managing and monitoring our District’s Student-Focused Learning Model, which is founded on the core belief that each and every student can and will learn when provided adequate opportunities, support and resources. Specifically, Ms. Mills will oversee the areas of Academics, Teaching & Learning, Student Supports, Student Services, School Leadership, as well as work on developing our District’s Graduate Profile.
In addition, Ms. Mills will be responsible for managing budgets, allocating resources, and evaluating the effectiveness of academic programs.
