District-wide
January 31- All Boise District Junior and Senior High students and parents are invited to Borah High School for our first ever Health Professions Expo!  Come to learn about entrance into medical school, gain information and advice from practicing doctors, nurses, and other health profession specialists, and learn about Boise District courses, programs, and certificates that lay the foundation for health-related fields.

Open house will span from 5:00 to 7:30 pm.  College and program representatives from ISU, BSU, NNU, LCSC, ICOM, and more will be available to provide hands-on student experiences and answer questions about specific fields. 30 minute panel sessions led by current doctors, nurses, medical students, and other medical professionals will begin at 6:00 on targeted topics such as career technical education, medical school, nursing, pharmaceutical, trauma care, course recommendations, and more!

The first 50 students will receive earbuds and all Boise District students visiting booths and/or panel sessions will be entered into a drawing for an iPad!
